XBOX 360 Media Remote (DVD remote)
There are two official versions of the XBOX 360 Media Remote control. The function of both is to navigate through your homepage/menus and provide a more familiar remote for controlling movies and music. The shorter XBOX 360 Media Remote came out first, and then the longer Universal Media Remote was released which had the ability to control a number of TVs, just like some other universal remotes out in the marketplace. You can use your XBOX 360 controller to navigate through the DVD menus, but it's just so much easier, and natural, with this remote.
