About us

Founded in Austin, Texas in 1994, Gamefellas has grown alongside the gaming community for over three decades. What began as a console-gaming shop has evolved into a great destination for buying, selling, and trading TCGs (trading card games).

We specialize in games like Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, One Piece, Dragon Ball, and many others, and we proudly host organized play events that bring collectors, competitors and casual players together.

Whether you’re ripping packs, building
decks, or hunting for that one chase card, our team is here to help.

We continue to buy, sell and trade video games and often have a great selection of games and systems from Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and Sega; we also carry lots of Funko POPs, plushies, and pop-culture collectibles.

Our heart has been nurtured by and is firmly rooted in the Austin gaming community.

Now with two South Austin locations, Gamefellas is more than a store—it’s a place to play, trade, and connect with video games, trading card games and people.
